Drilling in an Aluminium Rolling Mill

Overview

The challenge for this project was to complete 30 boreholes (135 metres) within a 72 hour period within a sensitive environment. The whole project was completed within a holiday weekend causing no disruption to the production of the mill. It was critical that the aluminium rolls located at the mill were not contaminated during this investigation.

Despite a late increase to the scope of the works, Land-Drill was able to complete the works on time.
