The first phase of an investigation is generally a "desk study" where historical and current records of the site are assessed and a Conceptual Site Model (CSM) is constructed.
The second phase is to use the Conceptual Site Model to design an intrusive investigation necessary. This may include trial pits and boreholes, together with laboratory testing.
Finally, a full interpretation of ground conditions can be carried out with recommendations for remedial work to satisfy regulatory authorities (including integration of data allowing ground-water profiling and production of 3D conceptual site models highlighting potential sources, pathways and receptors).
Wherever you are in this process,Land-Drill can help. We will work with your existing team to identify a cost-effective solution.
